I’m Gail, and I’m thrilled to share my dream with you. For much of my adult life, I found my home in Astoria, Oregon—a charming coastal town that was supposed to be temporary. But this community captivated me and became my true home. Founded in 1811 by fur traders and enriched by immigration from Scandinavia and China, Astoria’s geographical isolation has fostered a profound belief in togetherness that thrives today.
The breathtaking Pacific coastline, majestic Columbia River, and vibrant community spirit inspire my passion for sharing this special place. My dream is to guide you through Astoria’s quirky history, delightful pubs, and fascinating museums. There’s truly no place like it!

Astoria Guided Tour – There’s No Place Like Astoria
Experience an 8-hour guided tour departing from Portland. Explore historic streets, museums, and iconic riverfront landmarks. Includes round-trip transportation via Highway 30, museum and historical site fees, bottled water, and snacks. Maximum 12 people, minimum 4. $195 per person.
